Our purpose built, deluxe self-catering apartment has everything the modern holidaymaker desires. Situated on the cliff-edge of Babbacombe, just 2 miles from Torquay harbour, this two bedroom holiday apartment is luxury at it’s finest.

The breathtaking uninterrupted view from the apartment showcases the gorgeous landscape of Exmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. So good is the view that the lounge was used by the BBC to film an interview with The Prime Minister, David Cameron.

Adjacent to the apartment is the famous Babbacombe Downs Cliff Top Gardens. Additionally, the Cliff Railway is on your door step to transport you straight to the tranquil Oddicombe Beach, one of the most scenic beaches in the county. During the summertime, you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, boating or promenading on the beach.

Public transportation is available if you are travelling in by train or bus:

  • Local Torbay Buses stop a mere 100 metres away and take you to any popular destination within the bay region.
  • The Torquay train station is 4 miles and can be easily accessed by taxi.
  • Exeter Airport is 24 miles and again can be accessed by taxi.

Accommodation and Facilities

Our first-class apartment has been designed for the highest level of comfort and convenience. The open-plan design, with free wifi throughout, includes a dining area that accommodates six. The four metre wide floor to ceiling windows allow guests to enjoy one of the best views of the South English Coast from the living area through to the kitchen. In the sumptuous living area, you can relax in the soft leather corner group sofa or leather arm chair and enjoy the 46” High-Definition television with digital channels and accompanying DVD player. A selection of books, magazines and DVDs, including children’s DVDs, accompany the media centre for your enjoyment.

Our fully-fitted kitchen provides all the modern conveniences of home with a dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer with water and ice, oven and microwave.The apartment’s fully fitted bathroom features a separate shower and bath, toilet and basin and heated chrome towel rack. Towels and bed linen are provided.
The master bedroom contains a queen size bed and a fitted wardrobe and looks out over a sea view. For your entertainment and relaxation, a 20” LCD television with digital channels and a DVD player is built-in.
The second bedroom contains twin beds (which convert to a queen double bed for a couple) and a futon and can accommodate three children or adults and also looks out over a sea view. The second room also has fitted wardrobe and a 32” LCD television with digital channels. The apartment is furnished with a washing machine and separate tumble dryer. A children’s high chair and travel cot can be provided at no extra cost along with a stair gate.

Torbay has a wealth of attractions for all age groups and you will be perfectly positioned to take advantage of many of them.Oddicombe beach and the Cliff Railway are situated right below the apartment and easily viewed from the lounge.

www.yellands.com The Cliff Railway Cafe, Babbacombe and Yelland’s of Teignmouth, two lovely cafes with cakes, scones, breakfasts and lunches.

www.no7-fish.com Highly recommended, award winning fish restaurant overlooking Torquay Harbour. This is our favourite restaurant and a lot of other people’s too.  Book ahead to get a table during your stay.  If you like fish you really cannot get better anywhere.        Wine @ No.7 is a new wine bar upstairs from the restaurant.  Tell Paul we sent you.

www.hanburys.net  One of the UK’s best fish and chip takeaways and restaurants.  Three times winner of UK Fish and Chip shop of the year.  Easy walking distance just along the Downs.
